Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses Chardonnay White Wine 2018 celebrates the Mediterranean lifestyle. The soil, very varied, is primarily made up of hard limestone from the garrigues, schist soils, and gravel brought by the rivers of Languedoc. The bottle has a rose-shaped bottom, created by a young designer from the Ecole Boulle. It's a wine that offers itself like a bouquet of roses!
This Cote des Roses Chardonnay presents a beautiful pale color with golden reflections. The nose develops aroma of mango, dried fruit, almond, hazelnut, citrus fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom. The barrel aging brings notes of vanilla, cinnamon, fresh butter, and spices. Its long-lasting finish has marked by a beautiful minerality and the right length. It has bottled at 13% alcohol by volume. This Languedoc is ideal to savored at 10°C as an aperitif or with shellfish or fish. Enjoy!
